Hi Guys! My Grandmother made this every year for Fourth Of July. I made it for Memorial Day. To make it look like real dirt, put it in a flower pot (with no whole on bottom) with a small American Flag. I put on directions to make homemade chocolate pudding, but to save time, you can put in store bought pudding too!
Ingredients:
1 1/3 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
6 Tbsp. Corn Starch
1 tsp. Salt
4 1/2 Cups Milk
4 Tbsp. Butter, cold
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 Package Cream Sandwich Cookies
1 Package Gummy Worms
Directions:
1. In a medium sauce pan, whisk together sugar, cocoa, corn starch, and salt.
2. Gradually add milk and stir.
3. Stir with whisk slowly until mixture thickens. About five minutes.
4. After thickened, take off heat and add butter and vanilla.
5. Place in refrigerator to cool. About ten minutes. take out and stir in half package of gummy worms.
6. Place half of pudding in large, clean flour pot.
7. Place half package of sandwich cookies into large ziplock bag. Use dough roller to roll cookies into crumbs.
8. Pour crumbs evenly onto pudding.
9. Re-do steps 1-6 and layer. Then re-do step 7 and 8. Stick in an American Flag and serve cool. Enjoy!!!
